For those of you who expected me back online on Monday, that’s not going to happen.

I got to the airport this afternoon and as I wait for the flight out of San Diego I learn that it has been delayed over 1 hr meaning that I would not make my flight. What’s worse, the airline said that they would not pay for a hotel in Houston since the delay was due to weather.

So I was able to get my tickets changed to Monday, tomorrow, and Ron came back to the airport to pick me up. And as we drive back to his place we realize that it’s impossible for him to drop me off at the airport on Monday or Tuesday. This means that I had to change my tickets to Wednesday. So I’ll be out of the office for 3 extra days. I feel horrible about it. In restrospect I guess that I should have spent the night in Houston and just gotten to work 1 day late. But spending the night in San Diego sounded like the best option at the moment.

Sure, California is beautiful, but you know, I miss my bed, and I got a ton of things to do at work once I get back.
