You know, people may sayYou know, people may say that those Apple Switch commercials are stupid but the truth is that everyone I talk to has seen them, and what’s even more interesting, there are a ton of copycats out there. Once again, Apple invents something, others copy them. And I’m not a Mac zealot - I use several OSs each and everyday. I just rather use a Mac at home, where I don’t want to worry about computers.
I ran at the gymI ran at the gym again tonight - not for long, but I ran. And I did fairly well with the weights. It’s exciting to see the slow, but constant, progress. I feel better than I have felt in ages.
Did I mention that yesterdayDid I mention that yesterday I actually ran on the treadmill at the gym? First time ever. A winner is me!
In theory sitting down allIn theory sitting down all day and doing nothing but watch movies and procrastinate around the house sounds like a good idea. Well, I’m bored out of my mind.
I saw flying spermies todayI saw flying spermies today on the way home for lunch. A school released white balloons with silver strings and they looked like giant spermies impregnating the clouds. It was adorable. I was physically exhausted lastI was physically exhausted last night. So after watching Survivor on TiVo, I went to bed around 11pm, which is about an hour earlier than usual. And I’m turning, and turning and I couldn’t go to sleep. I was so tired, but my mind wouldn’t let me go to sleep. Then around 1:20 am I was half sleep half awake. I guess I thought of a bunch of people and I had my own “tribal council” where I voted people out of my mind one by one. Until there was only one left and then I thought “ok, I can go to sleep now that there is only one.” Of course this made a whole lot of sense at 1:30, now it doesn’t. Did I go to sleep? No. I didn’t fall sleep until past 2 am. And I’m so tired today.
After talking to Ron (SanAfter talking to Ron (San Diego) tonight I learned that what I had yesterday was most likely food poisoning due to bad chicken from night before. He is a bartender and has gone through plenty of food safety classes and knows all that stuff. After asking me several questions he goes “yeah.. that was food poisoning.” Oh well. In other news, I went back to the gym tonight. It’s been so long since I’ve been there, and boy, did it kick my ass. I was pretty beat by the time I was done with all the machines. Tomorrow I’ll go back and do cardio, that won’t be fun either.
I guess that staying outsideI guess that staying outside in 32 degree weather looking at the stars didn’t do me much good. I’m running a fever and I stayed home all day.
I saw two meteors! ItI saw two meteors! It was too cold outside so we gave up after an hour and a half or so. But we had a lot of fun. We are going back out tomorrow night to do some star gazing. |
