This is sad. I was

This is sad. I was listening to XM’s U-Pop channel which is basically pop music from all over the world, but mostly in English. So this song comes on, and I realize that it’s not in English and I listen for a few seconds and think “kind of sounds like Chinese” and go on with what I was working on.

Then I listen again only to notice that it wasn’t Chinese. It was Spanish! How depressing. I can’t believe I couldn’t understand it at first. After all I spoke Spanish for 18 years, 24 hrs a day.
