Taken, the scifi channel series. What a waste of 20 hours of my life. The first 5 episodes (10 hrs) were on the boring side but they made the 2nd half of the series look so entertaining. So I kept watching. Shows 6-9 were pretty good. They were suspenseful, mysterious, lots of alien stuff going on, and then suddenly, show 10 involves 1.5 hrs of nothing, followed by a nose-bleed scene followed by a goodbye. How disappointing.

No wonder they decided to show the series in 2 weeks. If it was 1 episode a week, people wouldn’t watch it after the first couple of episodes.
