Ack.

I have an upper respiratory infection. I’m on antibiotics. My throat is itchy and I’m coughing. It sucks big time. I hope I’ll feel better this weekend.

We all went to the

We all went to the student union for lunch. I had two great slices of bacon & pepperoni pizza and a mt dew.

We all talked and laughed and discussed tampons. Some guy said that football players get tampons for runny noses. We don’t believe him. Then I told everyone that a friend explained to me how applicators work. The one female was disgusted, all the guys were curious but they weren’t brave enough to ask me how they work. I got a few looks that said “please tell us” but I didn’t. It’s a mystery that should remain a mystery.

Then we came back to the office and went into the break room where we watched Conan O’Brian on Comedy Central for about 30 mins.

A good time was had by all.

I just got done sending

I just got done sending an email to one of the DJs on the 90s channel on XM Satellite Radio. He had an exclusive interview with Eminem. The interview had a ton, and I mean a ton, of bad language. But it was so funny. I was laughing so hard in my car.

Well, a group of people decided to complain about the 90s channel and the adult language and the DJ’s boss made him apologize on the air.

People should do their job, which is, to keep their children away from channels that have adult content. The 90s has always had adult language. It doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t bother most people. It bothers a small vocal minority that love to scream “think of the children!” at any chance they get. It’s always a few of them that ruin the fun for the rest of us.

There are 99 other channels for them to listen to. If they had children in the car, they should have changed to XM Kids and if they didn’t like adult language, why were they listening to the 90s channel to begin with? People need to understand that not everyone is like them. Just like they may want to listen to the Christian channels all day long (and I respect that), it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to listen to the occasional adult language, all in good fun.

There is no reason for others to push their morals on the rest. And that is my point.

If anyone who uses my

If anyone who uses my server for email was trying to access it since about 11:20 pm (3/3/03) until about now 1 am (3/4/03) you may have been having problems.

I ran a security update which messed up with the webmail encryption. It took me about 1.5 hrs to get everything back up and running the way it was working originally, but still using the security update.

Everything should behave correctly, but please let me know if it doesn’t.

But now, it’s bedtime.

My boss showed up at

My boss showed up at work today with a full beard. It really didn’t look good and I couldn’t keep it to myself. So I finally emailed him this:
Subject: beard
Message: Attachment What’s that, what’s happening, what’s going on?

He wrote back “what??”

So I finally told him “Your beard, what’s the deal? I hope your wife likes it.”

To which he replied “It’s part of my master evil plan. Soon I’ll get a haircut and you’ll understand.”

Stupid cable company. They send

Stupid cable company. They send a notice in their monthly bill telling you to call them because digital cable is changing and you have to select different packages. So since their office is just a couple blocks from my house, I stopped by after work. Only to find out that they haven’t decided anything on the new packages and to check back in a week. But that you need to have your decision made by March 15. That’s idiotic. I hate them.

They (rich oilmen from Texas)

They (rich oilmen from Texas) said that it would snow yesterday. We were expecting 4 to 8 inches, which of course upset me terribly. We just ended up getting some of that big fluffy snow that wouldn’t stick. Together with a temperature warm enough to melt the snow, it was one ugly mess outside yesterday.

Today we are close to 40 degees so far and a lot of the snow is melting. It’s about time. I’m hoping that winter is now finally gone forever. Or until next year.
