A new Jewel

Jewel had nice music. Not my favorite, but she had some nice songs. Her and a guitar. Nice soothing music for the most part.

Now she has a new album, 0304, and a new single “Intuition” and I cannot quite figure out what happened to her style. It’s popish, or dancish. Just not her. I saw her in Leno the other night singing “Intuition” and she seemed so out of her element, almost as if she wasn’t enjoying it. It may be because she doesn’t like performing in public, but I wonder if her music label isn’t forcing her to try this more “up to date” style of music.
