Ringy dingy

According to this rather interesting article (salon.com) “On average […] an American household makes three purchases per year in response to sales calls.”

I know I’ve never bought anything from a telemarketer. So some sucker somewhere is buying his 3 things, and my 3 things, and probably your 3 things.
