Ringy dingyAccording to this rather interesting article (salon.com) “On average […] an American household makes three purchases per year in response to sales calls.” I know I’ve never bought anything from a telemarketer. So some sucker somewhere is buying his 3 things, and my 3 things, and probably your 3 things. Mysteries of the deepNot only is she adorable, but she is an angel! “NEW YORK (AP) — The rate of people who were screened for colon cancer jumped by more than 20 percent after Katie Couric showed her colonoscopy on the “Today” show, a study published Monday found.” I know that my life changed forever after I got a good look at what’s inside of her ass.
Hot, hot like fire109 degrees today. After work, I got in my car and I opened my windows as I drove off campus hoping that some of the heat from inside the car would go away. Instead I was feeling air coming into my car that almost burned my face. It was as hot as sticking my face in an oven.
30 New pictures addedI added 30 pictures to the photo album. Heather’s 30th birthday. A good time was had by all. Lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of pictures.
Most boring descriptionI just came across the most boring description ever for one of the funniest shows ever. It’s for Will & Grace: “The unique relationship between Will Truman (Eric McCormack) and Grace Adler (Debra Messing) in this adult comedy about two best friends and roommates –Will who is gay and Grace who is straight. Will is a successful Manhattan lawyer — likable, handsome and charming, recently ended a long-term relationship. Likewise, Grace is a beautiful, self-employed interior decorator. They both love fine wine, fashion and shopping. Will and Grace have been friends for a long time, and though they’re both looking for love, they long ago accepted the fact that there will be no romance between them. As a result, they face life’s ups and downs together, knowing they will always have each other to lean on. Grace’s work life is complicated by her assistant, Karen Walker (Mullally), a wealthy socialite who only bothers to show up at work because it keeps her “down to earth” — and because she likes to tell Grace how to live her life. Will has another good friend in the outrageous Jack McFarland (Hayes), a well-meaning but self-involved young man who comes with a complete matching set of emotional baggage. Shelley Morrison plays Karen’s maid, Rosario. This Emmy Award-winning series has enjoyed both critical acclaim and ratings success as one of the centerpieces of NBC’s “Must See TV” Thursday lineup. Starring Eric McCormack (Holy Man, Free Enterpirse), Debra Messing (Hollywood Ending, A Walk in the Clouds), Megan Mullaly (Stealing Harvard), and Sean Hayes (Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss)” If I was trying to figure out if this show was worth watching based on the description, I’d try to run away from it as fast as I could. Heather is 30Heather, a girl I used to work with, turns 30 today. So I took 5 minutes of my time to make this Photoshop masterpiece for her. Sugar RayThis is from our ticketing system at work:
Sugar Ray? I doubt it, but it’d be neat.
FedEx painsI needed to send a package via FedEx Ground. Not a big deal, FedEx isn’t that far from my home. So I go there and they are like “oh, this is ground, we don’t take ground here, you can leave it here, but it won’t go out today, and they may not pick it up for a few days.” So they tell me to go somewhere towards the airport to find the place. They say that there are no markings but there should be a FedEx truck. So I drive there, and of course I pass it, doing 50 with cars behind me. I had to go up about a mile before I could turn around. I go there and it’s a big warehouse and I am walking around and there is NO ONE there. I could have grabbed some boxes and taken them home. Finally a truck pulls up, the driver ignores me for a bit but finally I go talk to him and he took the box and said that it’ll go out. So that’s done.
Everyone’s doing it, doing itIt looks like the latest fad is to drive around with a body stuck in your windshield. Come on everybody!
Ying YangSo I wake up this morning and I check the news only to find that the twins had died. I’m not sure why it bothered me so much, but it did. They just seemed so happy on every video I’ve seen. And yesterday it was announced that the critical part of the surgery had ended succesfully, so it caught me by surprise. In happier news, Big Brother 4 begins tonight. That means that this show will take over all my free time and most thoughts.
