The whole Segway thing started as a joke. I was putting an Amazon.com list together for a friend, and I threw in a Segway for giggles.
But the more I think about it, the more I’d love to have one.
Too bad that they’d be about imposible to use in Hays. In very few places do you ever see any crosswalks that I’d be able to use safely. People in Hays cannot drive, so I’d probably get hit or have close calls everytime I get it out. And what’s probably worse, Hays is full of close minded people who just wouldn’t “get it”.
Maybe after I move to California, I can buy one. What I’m going to do, for real, is start a “Segway Fund” in my savings account.
