In-n-Out’s secret menu (the proof)

In a previous entry I talked about In-N-Out’s secret menu. I was excited to finally be able to try it out.

So I made a point to eat there once on the way to Disneyland for an early lunch. As I was walking up to the counter getting ready to order our hamburgers “Animal Style” and my fries “Well Done”, I started to have second thoughts. What if what I had come across on the Internet was really just a prank to make people feel stupid at the register? I mean, what are the chances of that? But it could happen. So with a lot of doubt I ordered 3 cheeseburgers and then I added, with confidence, “animal style” and the guy did not even flinch, he went to a second screen on his register and pushed some button. He then did the same thing when I ordered one of the fries “well done.”

And here is my receipt:

3 Cheseeburgers Animal Style
Fries Well Done
Fries
Vanilla Shake

The verdict? The animal style burgers kick major ass. They are, well, magically delicious. I could not tell that my fries were much more fried than the other ones, but they were still pretty good.

I can’t wait to have some more of their burgers again soon.
