The forgotten

Last night I went to the movies and saw The Forgotten.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I was not too excited about it. I had seen the preview on the website and thought I had figured it out.

It’s about a lady who has a son who died, yet people don’t remember the son. The photo albums are empty, the video tapes of the son are just full of static. Did she imagine her son? Or is she the only one who remembers him? If so, how can that be possible?

The movie turned out to be the type of movie that Night Shyamalan wishes he would have made. Exciting. Mysterious. Twists and turns that I never expected. Definitely a must watch in my book.

I give it an A-. Mostly because I wish that the ending had a little bit more to it. But I am just nit picking. The fun part of the movie is the ride that it takes you through. If you are looking for something to watch one of these days, this is it.
