IntelliTXT sucks

Have you noticed that when you go to some sites a lot of keywords are suddently highlighted in green and when you mouse-over the link you see an ad? Click on it will take you to some advertiser’s page.

Well, it bugged the hell out of me. They are spreading like wildfire too. So I was curious how to get rid of them.

If you have windows, go to Notepad and navigate to your windows/system32/drivers/etc directory and then open a file called “hosts”. Enter the following lines:
0.0.0.0 itxt.vibrantmedia.com
0.0.0.0 www.vibrantmedia.com
0.0.0.0 vibrantmedia.com

Save and close the file. You may have to restart (not sure) but you will no longer have that problem. I know I don’t.
