IntelliTXT sucks

Have you noticed that when you go to some sites a lot of keywords are suddently highlighted in green and when you mouse-over the link you see an ad? Click on it will take you to some advertiser’s page.

Well, it bugged the hell out of me. They are spreading like wildfire too. So I was curious how to get rid of them.

If you have windows, go to Notepad and navigate to your windows/system32/drivers/etc directory and then open a file called “hosts”. Enter the following lines:
0.0.0.0 itxt.vibrantmedia.com
0.0.0.0 www.vibrantmedia.com
0.0.0.0 vibrantmedia.com

Save and close the file. You may have to restart (not sure) but you will no longer have that problem. I know I don’t.

43 Things

I have gotten addicted to a site called 43 Things.

Basically you type something that you’ve always wanted to do in life (anything!) and it will list people with the same goal. You can say that you want to do it and add it to your list of things to accomplish in life (up to 43), or you can say that you’ve done it and even talk about it.

Spend a few minutes there, it’s fun. Maybe you can even create your very own goal list!
