Groovy!Technology. Disco. Back up singers. [via engadget] 6 Feet underLook at this picture of the Pope’s burial. Now read his Will. It states:
Doesn’t that burial go against his wishes? Am I misinterpreting what he wanted? Ch-Ch-Ch-Chevy!My Jeep is still in the shop. I guess that it finally got assembled and painted yesterday but they are waiting for some hose or something for the AC system and they doubt they’ll get it in time to get my car ready by today, Friday. But it turns out that every time I called this week, I was told a different story by the same guy. The guy was basically lying to me about the status of my car just to keep me happy. A coworker of mine knows the supervisor at the body shop and she called him and chewed him out. The supervisor then called me and offered me a rental free of charge until my car is ready to be picked up. So I am driving a 2004 Chevy Lumina. It feels like a toy. I don’t think it goes faster when you press the gas pedal, it just makes a different noise. Being without a car for close to 3 weeks made me wonder if this is how old people feel when they have their car taken away from them. But then the difference is that I don’t drive through a market killing people.
Temptation of the PSPI’m weak. I could not resist my temptation. Today after work I went out and bought a PSP and 2 games (Wipeout and Lumines). I’ve only had about 30 minutes to play with it, but it’s just plain awesome. It looks so much better in person than on pictures. I love the clear left and right buttons. The video is amazing. The games are smooth and beautiful. Great purchase! Boycott KansasAnd so we have come to this: Boycott Kansas accessible at http://www.boycottkansas.com It’s really not a surprice, after all, Kansas is as bigoted as you think.
PSP browserDallas has set up his PSP to browse the interweb and he sent me a picture of this website on his PSP. How cool is that? Thanks, Dallas!

Hot boxMy office, at 7:45 am, 45 degrees outside. Raining.
Kansas is indeed as bigoted as you thinkPreviously I talked about a bumper sticker that says “Kansas: As bigoted as you think” as a commentary on Kansas “values”. It’s a game on the latest Kansas slogan to attract businesses and visitors “Kansas: As big as you think”. Today one of those “gay marriage” amendments to the constitutions has been put up to vote in order to advanced a group’s religious agenda and write their discrimination of 10% of the population in the state constitution. This means that it will be written in the constitution that marriage must be between one man and one woman. Gay marriage is already banned under Kansas law, so they are ammending the constitution to take rights away from people instead of giving them. The amendment has passed overwhelmingly. This is no surprise. Kansas is a very redneck, close minded state. Besides, this is the type of thing that happens when the rights of a minority are put to vote by the majority. What if school segregation had been put up to vote? Would the majority had voted for integration?
This is a sad day for all people living in Kansas. And one more reason to get the hell out of here as quickly as I can.
