Tooth fairy

As luck would have it, the dentist was out of the office yesterday so he couldn’t see me until today. I went in, he took a look, he took an x-ray and informed me that my wisdom tooth had a large cavity and that it needed to come out. I thought “okay….” knowing that people go to an oral surgeon, get sedated and have them pulled out. But he goes and says “do you want to do this now?” I freaked out. I made him promise me a million times that I would not feel a thing and he kept reassuring me.

He gave me a couple of shots and once the area was numb he did some pulling, I felt some pressure and that was it. It was out. No pain. No weird cracking noises. Nothing. I almost didn’t believe him when he said “okay, it’s out.”

Right now my mouth is still numb from the shots he gave me, but hopefully it won’t be too painful when the stuff wears out.
