Happy 50th, Disneyland
Saturday cat bloggingYou all made fun of my drawing showing our kitten trying to get a taste of my blood. Here is photographic proof of such atrocity.
Or add a little bit of pixel magic and a dash of Photoshop…..
Finally, I made a short 1.6mb QuickTime movie of the way BeeBee likes to bite me.
I feel dirtyIs it okay to like a JC Chasez song? The title is already embarrassing enough (All Day Long I Dream About Sex), but it’s just frustratingly catchy and campy!
Looking forward to stuffSometimes you encounter a lull in your personal life. It’s not a bad thing, but you feel like you need something to look forward to. So I was sitting here this afternoon thinking of what exciting things I have coming up. First of all, I have an upcoming vacation to Disney World in Orlando. That’s always a fun time. I haven’t been there in quite a few years and I’d like to try some of their new rides. Then, I have an upcoming week-long trip to China in about a month! Talk about cool. An all-expense paid trip to China paid for by my employer. We are going to be installing a specialized web-based tool for some of our partners on that side of the world. Finally, I am keeping an eye on prospective job openings through the country, preferably in warm and sunny areas. I love my job, but I’d like to move away from this area. I’m not applying to many places, but if I find something that I think I’m good at and I should enjoy, why not give it a shot? I have nothing to lose! Would anyone like to share things they have to look forward to? A trip? A fun purchase? A reunion? A tooth extraction?
Blog and job searchingI’m not doing a lot of serious job searching, but I am considering applying for the occasional job and see what happens. My question is, what should I do with my blog? It could scare people. I guess I could say that if they don’t like what they see, I don’t want to work for them, but, at the same time, I’d like for them to get to know me personally before they make any decisions. I could always change the main page to something boring and static and then hide the blog behind some links. I have no idea what to do.

I’m such an abstract artist that sometimes I have the need to explain what the hell I’m drawing.
Me, my pain, and I
I’m feeling artsy, anything else I should draw? Hi-ho, hi-ho. It’s off to China I go.I have just received note that I will be going to China on August 12th through the 22nd for business. How exciting. An all expense paid trip to China! That doesn’t happen every day.
Thinking is hardHere is a game to help you kill a few (or several) minutes. The raft game. Push the round bottom to start. Now remember these basic rules: It is a solvable game. To prove it, I solved it a second time and documented the steps I took. There may be an easier way to complete it, but this is how I did it: (the text is white, highlight it to reveal it) — SOLUTION BEGINS HERE —
A is the area closest to us, B is the area far away.
1 - cop, prisoner from A to B 2 - cop from B to A 3 - cop, boy from A to B 4 - cop, prisoner from B to A 5 - dad, boy from B to A 6 - dad from B to A 7 - mom dad from A to B 8 - mom from B to A 9 - cop, prisoner from A to B 10 - dad from B to A 11 - mom, dad from A to B 12 - mom from B to A 13 - mom, girl from A to B 14 - cop, prisoner from B to A 15 - cop, girl from A to B 16 - cop from B to A 17 - cop, prisoner from A to B — SOLUTION ENDS HERE — Thanks to Josh for the link.
ConnectionsI’m doing a little better after my tooth extraction. I spent a rather uncomfortable night on the recliner. I tried to sleep in my bed, laying down, but all I could do was taste blood in the back of my throat. A sleeping pill and a recliner seemed to address that problem for the most part. What I find it interesting is that I got an email from home yesterday. My mom also had a toothache this weekend and yesterday the dentist told her that her tooth would have to come out. Just like me. Interesting, uh?
