XM DJs

I have been an XM Radio subscriber since almost day 1. Now I can listen to them from my office too thanks to the Internets.

I sometimes e-mail the DJs requesting the occasional song, or to get in the fun when they are talking about something. A while back I provided the 90s channel with an hour of conversation.

Lately, I’ve been listening to U-POP which plays pop music from around the world. It’s a rather fun channel and lets you hear to such different music in many languages. It turns out that the morning DJ has a Blackberry which he keeps in his pants and he says that he likes it when he receives email, because it vibrates. The other day he gave his address out and I memorized it.

So this morning I sent him an email with the subject “Buzz Buzz” and it started with “I hope that feeling in your pants was as good for you as it was for me!” and then I requested Fierce Girl.

The DJ laughed and read the e-mail out loud and finished by saying “David from Spain…. muy caliente… here’s your song!”

I love how XM caters to their subscribers even if they are getting huge.
