Stuck

I just got stuck in my first real traffic mess.

It looks like there had been an accident about 50 yards in front of me and of course they had sent like five fire trucks, an ambulance, about six police cars and who knows what else.

First all of the emergency vehicles were going through the right lane so we all somehow managed to squeeze in the two left lanes. Then other emergency vehicles were trying to go through the left lane so we were all trying to squeeze into the right lanes. A complete mess.

Finally the cops got off their lazy asses and started telling cars where to go and they started to divert people to the correct places so that we could drive pass the mess.

It was a bad accident. An SUV had crashed against one of the construction concrete barriers and they were using the jaws of life to take the top off the SUV to get the driver out of there. Very bad accident.
