No news = bad news?

I just got off the phone with the realtor. He told me that he is unable to get a hold of the seller. Apparently his daughter is getting married this weekend. We don’t know if the wedding is today or tomorrow, but regardless, this is a busy weekend for him.

He says that he will keep trying and assured me that I have a good solid offer so he still has hopes that he will select my offer. He then added that I need to call the mortgage company first thing on Monday to make an appointment to get the mortgage application started. I don’t think he would have said that if he didn’t think I had a good shot at getting my offer accepted but who knows.

The other people who made the other offer are the ones who could screw up all of this for me but all I can do it sit and wait by my phone.
