Update

Well hello.  I know I haven’t written in a while, and instead I’ve gone the lazy route by uploading pictures when I go out to the theme parks.  If nothing, they are pretty. Life has been a bit crazy I suppose.  I believe I’ve replied to every email I have received but I figured I should post kind of what’s going on. 

I’m single now after about 5 years.  It happened about 2 months ago but it was a long time coming.  It just had to be done.  Some of you know why and I feel you agree with me.

 Sometimes you just have to be selfish and look out for yourself and make difficult (or not so difficult) decisions. So I’ve decided that it’s time to get out there and slowly start meeting some people.  I’m not anything any time soon.  Right now I just want to meet friends and I figured that if one of those friendships turns into something more, hey, then that’s even better.

 Met a couple of people so far, both could potentially be friends I suppose but I didn’t feel any kind of common ground there to build a good friendship.  But you never know, it does take time.

In the last couple of weeks I’ve been chatting with someone who sparked my interest.  Great online and phone conversations if I may say so.  So we decided that it was time to meet in person and do something fun.  We decided that Universal Studios would be a good place to kill a couple of hours and be entertained.  I got up this morning, did a couple of things around the house and I waited.  And I waited.  And I waited some more.  Calls went to voicemail.  Message was unreturned.  Now granted that this guy has a job that involves long shifts several times a week and emergencies (catch my drift?) so maybe he got called into work, which happens.  However, is a courtesy call or text so much to ask for? 

 Meh.  No one said this was easy.  And it’s not. But other than that, things are going well.  Enjoying my job, enjoying what the city has to offer and enjoying my true friendships.
