Heh. (Language not safe for work)And continuing with my YouTube obsession…
FingeringMaybe I’m just easily amused, but I loved this video (give it a bit of time to get started.)
Microsoft re-designs the iPod packagingThis is not just absolutely brilliant but also a real internal Microsoft video.
Be a pinballI’ve never claimed to be a normal kid while growing up. OK, so I was very normal but I often had weird thoughts that I never shared with anyone because they were just silly. I loved playing pinball (still do) and to me what was under the glass seemed like a magical world as weird as that may sound. I wondered what it would be like to be in a place that looked like that. To be the pinball if you will. Apparently someone answered my question by taking these awesome pictures from a pinball point of view. Now, he did it just to showcase the beauty of the pinball machine’s art and not because he had my same weird thought, but I love the pictures nonetheless.
SparklexJosh and I were, as usual, talking about poop and toilets. He was complaining about the ugliness of the blue coloring in the toilet bowl cleaning tablets at his job… “Disturbingly blue. Portapotty blue.” Which led me to my latest invention. Presenting Sparklex! Pink sparkles in every flush. Each flush is like a celebration!
They played my song!Yesterday I wrote about my Inflatable innertube song that I made for Big Brother. They played it! I don’t know if it’ll make it into the TV show but someone caught the video through the live feeds! Watch it! How embarrassing. But at least I had my voice in the Big Brother house and they heard it! The video title incorrectly credits the voice as “Jase” who is a house guest who was previously eliminated and came up with the original “blow-up innertube” song. The next wake up call is supposedly by Allison, the first evicted house guest.
The birds and the beesAm I the only one who just loves the Volkswagen Rabbit commercial? The black and white cars chasing each other, then going inside a tunnel only to come out followed by a bunch of gray cars and the occasional black car with a white strip? All accompanied with a great song about the birds and the bees. They breed like rabbits!
ThingamagoopBeep! Beep! Booooop! As a kid, I would have loved the Thingamagoop. I would have driven my parents crazy with it. I can imagine hours and hours of headache inducing interactive fun. There is even a movie of the device in action. And that’s not all. You can actually customize it and buy it. Too bad that I’m trying to save for a house down payment. Being poor sucks.
Jaws: The MusicalHeres a musical that the Jaws ride operators at Universal Orlando created about, well, being a ride operator at Jaws. Apparently Universal has a short film contest every year where each ride creates a movie making fun of their own ride. This is the one that won this year. The funny thing is that I recognize a couple of them from having been on the ride. A tad slow toward the end but neat overall.
